Our British surfing coaches have wide ranging experience in working with L.E.A and other educational/youth groups surf trips, young offenders, young people from various support centres, our staff have experience and training to make the session a great experience for all. Stag  do and hen do surfing weekends last few nights of freedom? We can offer two nights b and b in a hotel near the famous 'wine street' arrange taxis if required and supply vital info of the best places to drink, we can even provide a guide (at extra cost) if you require. We can bolt on other activities to the surfing such as paint balling, gorge walking, spa sessions for the hens, strippers, pole dancing classes, reservations for dining at the best restaurants in Swansea up to you. Group surfing sessions are for groups of up to 8 with one instructor, we operate these sessions all year round and most days, they generally start at 10/10.30 a.m or 13.00. Group courses can be one session, which is half a day or full day (two sessions with a break between), two days or a week up to you.


Private/small group/1-2-1 sessions these are more expensive than the group courses and offer the same BSA format, however, there is a maximum of 4 in each session with one coach as opposed to 8. The 1-2-1 session starts at £80 and lasts for two hours or there is a 1-2-2 session which has been popular with couples wanting private coaching and costs £150, for booking simply click here private surf coaching

Junior Surfing Academy runs after school Monday to Friday from April until Xmas and costs £30 for four sessions. During the school holidays there is a junior surf holiday camp for young people held seven days a week meeting at 09.30 a.m and pick up at 15.30 this costs £30 a day book online to secure your surfing spot.

Corporate days and Team building Surfing is great equaliser and helps build confidence, other activities can be added such as gorge walking, climbing, and other mad activities. We are currently teaching guys from IBM on a weekly basis. Packages can be made for small to large groups all accomodation can be sourced for you. Adults only after work during the week ideal for those that have had a lesson or self taught and want to go that one step further. The sessions run from 19.30 - 21.00 on a weekly basisthe first session costs £25 then £20's there after.
Please note that GSD only takes the surfing sessions, accommodation is sourced via the Welsh Tourist Boards approved list and any other activity is provided by the best qualified companies we can find.

After school surfing academy at Caswell beach, Gower has been running for over a decade and has helped create many of the top Welsh and British Junior surfers doing so well today such as Beth mason and Gwen Spurlock.

Surfing for young people and junior surfing academy here at Caswell beach, Swansea. We also run surfing sessions for all and offer good rates for Council groups in particular those that are targeted at specific areas within the community first, 5 times 60 etc. Over the last few years we have worked in partnership with Councils throughout Wales and as far a field as Kent County Council whom spent a weeks surfing on Gower with us and then a weeks surfing on the Algarve. SurfGSD is a member of the GB Surfing school scheme and also on the Approved Outdoor activity providers list for the City and County of Swansea and many other Local Authorities. We have the necessary Public Liability insurance required by councils and all our surf coaches are qualified lifeguards, BSA surf coaches along with having CRB enhanced checks.

1) My son surfed with GSD this morning, as he has most Saturdays for the last 8 years- from childhood to A level student. In that time, I can honestly say he has received the finest coaching from some of the most dedicated and enthusiastic young men you could hope to meet. GSD are fortunate indeed in their staff who are well-trained and safety -conscious, but above all are committed to their sport and determined that all their clients of any age or ability should share their enthusiasm.
Anyone remotely interested in surfing and holidaying on the Gower should give them a go- they won't be disappointed!

2) Almost 7 years ago I began after school surf lessons with GSD. I was not the usual sporty type, I merely tried it out of passing interest, never expecting it to be more than one summer's activities. And now I'm still learning and improving every weekend with GSD.
GSD introduced me to and got me hooked to a sport like no other, and it was only through their determination and hard-work to encourage the individual, no matter what their ability, to achieve what they are truly capable of that I became so addicted.
